UI Certification Course at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)
Description
A 10-week intensive UI Design Certification program from FIT where each student was assigned an e-commerce app that needed to be redesigned for mobile and desktop platforms. New design system, branding, task flows and wireframes have been applied to improve the site’s usability and aesthetic.
Redesign Annotations
The three main emotions this redesign is intended to evoke are reliable, honest, and friendly. For easier navigation, the landing page is composed of large, image-based buttons paired with bold type. The featured food shots are consistently taken from a top point of view across all pages.
